About this documentary
It took ten years in the making - from Fredenthal's first commercial gallery in 1989, to multiple one person shows at the Stark Gallery in SOHO and CHELSEA, to group exhibitions at MART the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Trento, and finally, the permanent installation of her work at the Villa Panza Museum in Varese, Italy.

This video was made by David Sotnik, director of Paradigm Productions. Mr. Sotnik has worked on documentaries with His Holiness Dalai Lama; Apollo-14 Astronaut, Edgar Mitchell; Dr. Deepak Chopra; Bernie Siegel, M.D.; Linguist, Helena Norberg-Hodge and many others.

About the Artist
Ruth Ann Fredenthal has recently come to be seen as
a major force in contemporary abstract painting.
This documentary reveals the artist's lifestyle,
career and philosophy, and includes many pertinent
interviews with critics and associates as well as the
renowned Italian collector, Count Giuseppe Panza di Biumo.
